Job Summary

As a key member of our team, the Talent Acquisition Specialist will play a critical role in executing the staffing direction in our designated facilities. This involves recruiting talented, qualified, and diverse talent while adhering to established recruitment practices and policies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with hiring managers to review and analyze job specifications, leadership behaviors, and skills required to ensure proper strategies are in place to meet hiring needs.
  • Develop and implement strategic hiring strategies targeted towards each functional area, working closely with hiring managers to deliver results.
  • Manage the full life-cycle recruiting process, including locating candidates, screening and interviewing candidates, scheduling interviews, and coordinating other recruitment-related tasks.
  • Engage recruitment technology to maximize system capabilities and develop sourcing plans specific to each job opportunity within designated locations.
  • Utilize proactive recruiting techniques, develop industry contacts, and select qualified individuals who will provide added value to the department, business objectives, and the company.
  • Mentor hiring managers on appropriate recruitment and legal hiring/interviewing practices and procedures.
  • Accountable for Affirmative Action Plans for specified requisitions/functional areas.
  • Assist Hiring Managers in developing and extending competitive job offers, and communicate acceptances to the TA Services team for completion of the hiring process.

Requirements

  • Bilingual required (English and Spanish)
  • Three (3+) years prior recruiting experience, preferably in distribution or consumer packaged goods industry.
  • Experience identifying and securing sources of potential job candidates.
  • Experience recruiting qualified candidates from a variety of sources.
  • Experience conducting phone interviews and assessing fit, verbally.
  • Experience marketing and selling a company's attributes to external candidates.
