Role Summary:

The Senior Personal Financial Representative (PFR) is a seasoned professional who excels in delivering outstanding service to members. This role involves building new member relationships, facilitating the opening of consumer deposit accounts, processing and finalizing loans, performing account maintenance, and serving as a Notary Public. The Senior PFR is adept in handling Business, IRA, Deceased Owner, Specialty, and other complex accounts. Acting as a mentor, the Senior PFR plays a vital role in training new PFRs while also supporting branch operations as needed.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Deliver exceptional service to all members.
  2. Address and resolve member concerns, ensuring prompt follow-up and resolution.
  3. Possess a solid understanding of financial literacy, products, and services, engaging members in informed discussions.
  4. Recommend suitable products and services to enhance member relationships.
  5. Conduct outreach to members to foster and maintain relationships.
  6. Ensure all branch equipment is functioning properly and report any issues to management.
  7. Understand and manage complex accounts, including business and deceased-owner accounts.
  8. Assist members with specialty accounts such as Trusts and Estate Accounts.
  9. Guide and mentor new PFRs and Member Service Associates (MSAs).
  10. Conduct branch audits and certifications with proficiency.
  11. Act in the absence of branch leadership as needed.
  12. Support non-members in establishing credit union membership.
  13. Process consumer lending applications and manage loan documentation.
  14. Facilitate discussions regarding IRAs and HSAs.
  15. Handle international and domestic wire requests.
  16. Provide notarial services in compliance with regulations.
  17. Monitor cash activity to ensure adherence to established limits.
  18. Manage consumer deposit accounts and related maintenance.
  19. Oversee cash orders, vault cash, and ATM maintenance.
  20. Conduct transaction processing and service requests accurately and timely.
  21. Assist members with digital banking services.
  22. Address complex fraud disputes with sensitivity.
  23. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Candidate Profile:
  1. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  2. Ability to make informed decisions while minimizing risk.
  3. Proficient in asking clarifying questions to understand member needs.

Qualifications:
  1. High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  2. Experience in lending and account management is essential.
  3. Proven sales and relationship-building skills.
  4. Notary Public certification required.
  5. Cash handling experience is preferred.
  6. At least one year of customer service experience is preferred.
  7. Commitment to credit union values and service standards.
  8. Engagement in community events on behalf of the credit union.
  9. Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage operations per company policies.
  10. High level of personal integrity and ethics.
  11. Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential.
  12. Some travel may be necessary.
  13. Proficient with various technologies.
