About the Role

  • Support Management Decision Making: You will prepare financial and operational analysis to support management decision making and achievement of organizational goals.
  • Prepare Analysis and Materials: You will prepare analysis and materials for key management processes, including weekly operation reviews, monthly executive financial review, financial forecasts, and the annual budget.
  • Execute Special Projects: You will execute or support special projects from the office of the CFO, including acquisition modeling, integration plans, software implementations, internal audits, profitability improvements, and process improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Financial and Operational Analysis: You will analyze financial and operational data to explain historical performance, identify trends, make projections, and identify actions to maximize performance.
  • Cost Analysis and Reduction: You will analyze costs and expenses and identify areas for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.
  • Strategic Decision Making: You will provide actionable insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
  • Scenario Analysis: You will conduct scenario analysis and sensitivity testing to assess potential impacts on the business.
  • Analysis and Reporting: You will prepare standardized analysis and explain results to management.
  • Special Studies and Recommendations: You will assist in preparation of special studies, analyses, and recommendations in areas such as budgets, forecasts, financial plans, statistical reports, and business forecasts.
  • Advisory Role: You will advise management on matters such as effective use of resources and assumptions underlying budgets and forecasts.
  • Special Projects: You will execute special projects as requested.

Requirements

  • Education: Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years experience in financial analysis or a minimum of 5 years experience split between public accounting and corporate finance
  • Skills: Ability to organize data and recommendations in a clear manner that non-finance teammates can understand, attention to detail, and drive to achieve deadlines
  • Technical Skills: Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills, experience with OneStream, PowerBI, and/or Dynamics AX is a plus
  • Professional Certifications: Public accounting experience and a CPA/CMA/MBA preferred
