Position Title: Power BI Developer & Data Visualization Specialist

Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire

Location Preference: Candidates should be local to Durham or Charlotte, NC (2 days Onsite)

Position Overview:

  • Your primary responsibility will involve the reconstruction of over 25 Power BI reports as part of a migration initiative from on-premises to cloud for an Environmental Health & Safety system.
  • There is an opportunity to transition to a subsequent project, which entails the redevelopment of additional Power BI and SSRS reports for a custom application that is undergoing reconstruction.
  • You will collaborate closely with the data solutions team, acting as the intermediary between raw data and end-users to ensure effective data utilization.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience with data visualization tools, specifically Power BI and SSRS.
  • Proficiency in Power BI's DAX language is essential.
  • At least 5 years of experience in writing SQL queries.
  • Experience with data modeling and analytics tools is required.
  • Familiarity with Tableau and QuickBase is considered advantageous.
