Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quantitative Associate to join our team at First Citizens Bank. As a key member of our risk management team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining balance sheet forecasting models, analyzing data, and providing insights to support business decisions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain loan forecasting models, including total balance, commitment, unfunded, funded, attrition/runoff, and prepayment model components.
  • Apply sophisticated analytics to assess future risk, opportunities, and effectiveness, and translate results into meaningful solutions to improve decision making.
  • Collaborate with business and CCAR stakeholders to submit and validate data, analyze consolidated results, and produce the final regulatory 14A submission.
  • Develop robust qualitative and quantitative models and analytics for improving CCAR stress testing results and capital decision-making.
  • Support treasury ALM on interest rate risk management by building BAU models.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of experience in Finance or Analytics OR High School Diploma or GED and 10 years of experience in Finance or Analytics.
  • Masters degree in statistics, economics, econometrics, applied mathematics, quantitative finance or related field is preferred.
  • 5+ years of relevant business/academic experience in Quantitative modeling and model development, model implementation, or model validation experience.
