We are seeking an experienced International Trade Compliance Specialist to join our team at INTRAL Corporation.

Job Summary:

The International Trade Compliance Specialist will be responsible for providing expert guidance on international trade compliance regulations, including Export Administration Regulations (EAR), EU Dual-Use Regulations, Foreign Trade Regulations (FTR), and Free Trade Agreement eligibility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Determine product classifications (Export Control Classification Number (ECCN) & Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS)) and other valuation, origin, and licensing requirements.
  • Research and respond to inquiries on various trade compliance regulations.
  • Conduct assessments of exporters' & importers' compliance controls, review and prepare customized corporate policy and procedure manuals, conduct compliance assessments and assist in training programs.
  • Liaise with domestic and international departmental teams for daily support and managerial oversight of documentation, compliance, data management.
  • Make classification determinations and manage associated compliance data.
  • Exercise sound judgement and model a high degree of personal accountability.
  • Identify and implement process improvement opportunities.

Requirements:

  • 2-5 years of experience in international trade compliance.
  • Bachelors required, Masters Degree or J.D. a plus.
  • Customs Broker License a plus.
  • Familiarity with compliance regulatory and technical research.
  • HTS and ECCN classification experience preferred.
  • Proven ability to work independently and perform highly detailed work.
  • Strong team and collaboration skills.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Knowledge in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word & Excel).
