Process Engineer

Join Openwork as a Process Engineer and take on the challenge of optimizing our manufacturing processes. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing process improvements that drive efficiency, quality, and productivity.
Key Responsibilities:- Optimize existing processes and develop new ones to improve efficiency and quality
- Evaluate cost-saving measures and develop debottlenecking procedures
- Develop and configure compounding processes for new and existing materials
- Ensure compliance with ISO, US environmental, OSHA regulations, and other relevant standards
- Design, run, test, and analyze systems and processes
- Assess processes, take measurements, and interpret data to inform process improvements
- Take a leadership role in customer and internal corrective action investigations and root cause analysis
- Develop best practices, routines, and innovative solutions to improve production rates and quality
- Strong leadership and analytical skills are required
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering or mechanical engineering
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Knowledge of ISO, Kaizen, 5S, and automotive plastic business a plus
- Lean manufacturing process experience
