Temecula Valley Day Surgery is a multi-specialty Ambulatory Surgery Center, licensed by the State of California, certified by Medicare, and accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care.

Our center is designed for patients having elective, one-day surgery with no hospital stay. The purpose is to provide a patient-focused approach to outpatients requiring operative, Endoscopy, or Pain service, and to achieve desired quality patient outcomes in a cost-effective manner.

We are seeking a Full-Time OR Surgical Technician who is an integral member of the surgical team, providing care to patients, aged six months throughout the life span.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide and control sterile instruments, supplies, and equipment required during surgical intervention.
  • Assemble supplies and equipment for surgical procedures.
  • Decontaminate all equipment, instruments, and supplies according to procedures.
  • Assist with cleaning and maintenance of rooms, equipment, and furniture.
  • Assist with inventory of supplies and equipment.

Requirements:

  • High School Graduate or equivalent required.
  • Graduate of approved school of surgical technology or appropriate on the job training required.
  • Demonstrate knowledge and ensure compliance with facility standards and guidelines.
  • Demonstrate compliance with hospital policies and procedures at all times.
  • Ability to relate to clinical personnel and medical staff, as well as ability to interact well with the public.
  • Knowledge of PC and applications.
