Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Veterinary Technician to join our team at VCA California Veterinary Specialists. As a key member of our veterinary care team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, assisting with medical procedures, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.

Responsibilities
  • Assist veterinarians with medical procedures, including venipuncture, catheter placement, and anesthesia monitoring
  • Perform physical examinations and patient assessments, and provide compassionate care to hospitalized patients
  • Prepare and assist with surgical procedures, and maintain accurate records of patient care
  • Participate in laboratory work, pharmacy, and patient recovery
  • Collaborate with the veterinary care team to ensure seamless patient care and excellent client service
Requirements
  • RVT and VTS credentials
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
  • Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care
