Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our team at APR. This individual will be responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of commercial insurance accounts, providing exceptional service to clients, and ensuring their coverage aligns with business requirements.

Main Responsibilities
  • Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Policy Administration: Administer commercial insurance policies, including policy reviews, renewals, and new business opportunities.
  • Business Development: Collaborate with producers to identify new business opportunities and negotiate renewals to optimize coverage and cost ratios.
  • Carrier Partnerships: Develop and maintain strong partnerships with carrier representatives and underwriters to access premium services and products.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in commercial lines account management or a related role in the insurance industry.
  • A valid Property and Casualty license is required.
  • Preferred designations include Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC), Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in agency management software, preferably Applied (TAM or EPIC) or AMS360.
  • Strong knowledge of various types of commercial insurance policies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with clients, team members, and carriers.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, set priorities, and meet deadlines.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software for producing professional reports, spreadsheets, and presentations.

Estimated Salary: $78,000 - $88,000 per annum
