Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Systems Engineer to join our team at US Engine Valve. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and specifying advanced electrical, mechanical, and computer-controlled systems, as well as improving manufacturing support and maintenance programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design control systems for machine tools, including electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
  • Select capital equipment for manufacturing processes and improve current machine tools to increase uptime, quality, and productivity.
  • Provide engineering support to production equipment and processes, including advising maintenance and establishing programs for cost savings activities.
  • Consult with suppliers and internal engineers for continuous improvement programs and authorize/approve changes to machine tool programs.
  • Train associates on new technologies and manufacturing processes and maintain and follow Quality Management System and Environmental Management System requirements.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution required.
  • Technical knowledge in machine function, processes, control systems, CNC, PLC, servo drives, stepper motor drives, and electrical/electronic systems.
  • Technical knowledge in mechanical design and detailed abilities in capital equipment justification, project scheduling, and managerial planning.
  • Mentor and develop maintenance personnel and assist other plants/facilities with technical problems.
