Job Summary

The Sr. Manufacturing Engineer will independently perform engineering work related to planning, devising, or adapting methods to improve manufacturing production. This includes examining equipment, processes, operations, and assembly to determine time or quality revisions and suggesting improvements. The successful candidate will have oversight of specific manufacturing areas and processes, lead the design and fabrication of manufacturing process equipment and methods, and lead the troubleshooting of systems and equipment. Additionally, they will requisition components and supplies for engineering projects, interact with vendors to obtain price and product information, and perform manufacturability studies on new product designs. The Sr. Manufacturing Engineer will work closely with Design Engineering during manufacturability studies, conduct process validations and process risk management activities, and prepare straightforward plans, designs, calculations, and analyses per established codes, standards, drawings, or specifications. They will also create and maintain BOMs and routers following accepted standards and ensuring high accuracy, perform engineering calculations to solve routine engineering problems, and participate as a member of the product development team, interacting with interdisciplinary teams in various projects. The ideal candidate will have a master's degree in engineering with 5 years of related engineering experience or a bachelor's degree in engineering with 8 years of related engineering experience.

Responsibilities

Oversight of specific manufacturing areas and processes
Lead the design and fabrication of manufacturing process equipment and methods
Lead the troubleshooting of systems and equipment

Requirements

Master's degree in engineering with 5 years of related engineering experience or a bachelor's degree in engineering with 8 years of related engineering experience
