Position Overview:

The Grant Compliance Specialist is responsible for overseeing compliance management activities and related initiatives in collaboration with leadership. This role involves coordinating the preparation and submission of necessary grant compliance reports and ensuring the timely dissemination of compliance information to key stakeholders, both internal and external.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage compliance-related tasks and initiatives in alignment with organizational goals.
2. Develop and submit required grant compliance documentation.
3. Provide technical assistance regarding grant compliance requirements.
4. Act as a liaison to funding organizations as needed.
5. Identify compliance gaps and collaborate with various departments to implement corrective actions.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution.
• A minimum of two years of experience in compliance, grant management, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively analyze and present data.
• In-depth knowledge of compliance best practices and the ability to interpret regulatory requirements.
• Proven ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
• Capacity to convey complex compliance information to individuals with varying levels of understanding.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.

Physical Requirements:

This position involves sedentary work, which may include occasional lifting of up to 10 pounds and prolonged periods of sitting. The role may also require brief periods of walking or standing.
