About the Role

The Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) is seeking a highly skilled professional to join its Inspection Divisions as a Deputy/Assistant Director. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and soundness of financial institutions in Singapore.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct inspections of financial institutions to assess their risk management and internal control practices.
  • Design and implement data-driven risk insights and timely intervention strategies.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including senior management and regulatory bodies.
  • Collaborate with the Banking Departments to achieve collective supervisory effectiveness.
Requirements
  • Experience in financial institution operations, risk management, and internal control practices.
  • Ability to leverage data and analytics to drive risk insights and timely intervention.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Academic and/or professional knowledge in organisational behaviour studies, with a track record in implementing culture, governance, and behaviour assessments.
  • Curiosity, willingness to learn, and a keen eye for detail.
