Job Title: Deputy / Assistant Director, International Department

About the Role:

The Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our International Department as a Deputy or Assistant Director. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing regional and international monetary and financial developments, and working closely with our dynamic team to develop and advocate MAS' positions at various multilateral fora.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and analyze regional and international monetary and financial developments
  • Develop and advocate MAS' positions at various multilateral fora
  • Contribute to advancing bilateral cooperation and relations with MAS' foreign counterparts
  • Participate in financial services free trade agreement negotiations

Requirements:

  • International relations, regulatory policy or supervisory experience
  • Background in Economics, Political Science and International Relations
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to think strategically
  • Resilient, proactive, able to multi-task and adapt to a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Team player with good networking and organizational skills
  • Applicants must be Singapore citizens
