Position Overview:
We are in search of a qualified and proficient Physician Assistant to become a vital part of our Otolaryngology (ENT) division. In this role, you will collaborate closely with our ENT specialists to deliver thorough care to patients suffering from conditions related to the ear, nose, and throat.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct patient evaluations, physical examinations, and medical history reviews.
- Order and analyze diagnostic tests, including laboratory work and imaging procedures.
- Assist in diagnosing and managing ENT disorders, such as sinusitis, hearing impairment, and throat issues.
- Perform minor surgical interventions, including biopsies and cerumen removal.
- Prescribe medications and additional treatments as required.
- Inform patients about their conditions, treatment alternatives, and preventive strategies.
- Work in conjunction with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
- Active state licensure as a Physician Assistant.
- Certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
- Previous experience in ENT or a related specialty is preferred.
- Strong clinical abilities and capacity to operate autonomously.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
