Job Title: Chief of Otolaryngology Services

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief of Otolaryngology Services to join our team at Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY). The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the Otolaryngology department at NYC Health + Hospitals/Kings County, a world-renowned Level 1 Trauma Center.

About the Role:
  • Provide leadership and managerial expertise to the Otolaryngology department, including personnel, finance, quality, and clinical resource management.
  • Establish mechanisms for orienting and providing in-service training and continuing education for all staff in the department.
  • Recommend space and other resources needed by the department to maintain a satisfactory level of care.
  • Develop, maintain, and update department policies and procedures.
  • Act affirmatively to promote the best interests of the Employer, the Hospital, and the Hospital's patients.
Requirements:
  • A current, valid, and unrestricted license to practice medicine in accordance with the laws of the State of New York.
  • A valid DEA registration.
  • Board Certification in the appropriate board specialty.
  • Active, unrestricted NYS license, or the ability to obtain one.
  • Experience working with culturally diverse or under-served patient populations is preferred.
