Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief of Otolaryngology Services to join our team at Physician Affiliate Group of New York. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for providing clinical and administrative leadership to our Otolaryngology department.


Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership and direction to the Otolaryngology department, ensuring high-quality patient care and excellent clinical outcomes.
  • Develop and implement departmental policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and hospital standards.
  • Collaborate with other department leaders to develop and implement hospital-wide initiatives and programs.
  • Recruit, retain, and develop a high-performing team of physicians and staff, ensuring a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Manage departmental budgets and resources, ensuring efficient use of resources and optimal patient care.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with hospital leadership, medical staff, and other stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.

Requirements
  • Board certification in Otolaryngology or related field.
  • Current, valid and unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of New York.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a leadership role, preferably in an academic or hospital setting.
  • Excellent clinical and leadership skills, with a strong track record of success in patient care and departmental management.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
