Job Summary

The Business Curriculum Development and Training Coordinator is responsible for developing a high-quality curriculum and training plan that supports the learning goals of the Business Specialists located within Child Care Resource & Referral (CCR&R) agencies. The Coordinator will also plan professional learning community meetings and special events designed to enhance the business support services that CCR&Rs offer.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop an annual professional development and training plan for business specialists at CCR&Rs, aligning with the company's strategic objectives.
  • Collaborate with the training team to update Management Training curricula for child care directors, ensuring relevance and effectiveness.
  • Establish training objectives, design and deliver training sessions, and evaluate training effectiveness to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Apply adult learning theory and training methods to instruct adult groups and individuals, promoting knowledge retention and application.
  • Prepare and facilitate professional learning meetings on specific child care supply topics, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
  • Support and mentor new employees in Business Support roles across the CCR&R network, ensuring a smooth onboarding process.
  • Work with the training team to input training curriculum, attendance, and evaluation into the Aspire Registry, maintaining accurate records.
  • Manage training budgets and establish communication channels with CCR&R Business Specialists, ensuring transparency and accountability.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the company, contributing to the overall success of CAPITAL CFO+ LLC.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field, with a strong understanding of curriculum and training design.
  • Master's Degree preferred, with experience working in an early childhood setting and some experience with program management.
  • NYS TTAP-Credentialed trainer or willingness to work toward credential upon hire, demonstrating a commitment to professional development.
