Job Title: Supervisor – Warehousing & Logistics

Job Summary:

PPL Electric Utilities is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supervisor – Warehousing & Logistics to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for the daily warehousing and logistics operations in support of PPL Electric Utilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Warehouse Operations: Ensure the receipt, storage, and distribution of materials, tools, and parts in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records, manage physical inventories, and conduct cycle counts to ensure transaction accuracy.
  • Logistics Services: Provide shipping and receiving services, including packing and shipping material for planned and emergent work.
  • Team Supervision: Direct and supervise bargaining unit and contractor personnel in the execution of logistics functions.
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensure a safe work environment and maintain compliance with Corporate and Supply Chain policies, as well as PUC, SOX, NERC, and FERC regulations.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of five years' experience in warehousing operations, with a thorough understanding of logistics operations and processes.
  • Licenses and Certifications: Valid driver's license.
