POSITION SUMMARY

As a Front Desk Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the front desk operations, ensuring that all guests receive a warm welcome and exceptional service. You will manage the check-in and check-out processes, confirming reservations, verifying guest identities, and assigning rooms. Your role will also involve handling guest inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise during their stay.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete cashier and closing reports accurately in the system.
  • Review shift logs and document important information.
  • Coordinate with other departments to address guest requests and concerns.
  • Sell accommodations to guests without reservations based on availability.
  • Ensure that rates are consistent with market codes and document any exceptions.
  • Maintain a clean and professional appearance, adhering to company policies.
  • Welcome and acknowledge all guests, anticipating their needs and providing assistance as required.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with team members.
  • Participate in training and mentoring staff to enhance their performance.
  • Report any accidents or unsafe conditions to management.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.

Related Work Experience: Minimum of 1 year in a similar role.

Supervisory Experience: At least 1 year of supervisory experience.

License or Certification: None required.
