About This Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Patient Care Technician to join our team at Methodist Rehabilitation Hospital Texsan. As a Patient Care Technician, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient-centered care to our patients.



Job Summary

The Patient Care Technician delivers high-quality, patient-centered care by performing delegated basic patient care services related to common nursing functions and activities of daily living. Under the supervision of the registered nurse (RN), the Patient Care Technician assists the nursing staff in providing patient care in accordance with the Patient Care Technician's skills/training and the needs of the Department.



Responsibilities

The Patient Care Technician will participate in the implementation of nursing care plans by performing direct and indirect patient care under the supervision of the licensed nurse. This will include obtaining and recording initial and ongoing patient information throughout the cycle of care, assisting with mobility, obtaining or assisting in the collection of specimens for diagnostic or waived tests, and assisting patients with activities of daily living.



Requirements

No experience is required for this role. We are looking for a team player who is committed to providing excellent patient care and is willing to learn and grow with our team.
