Your Role

As a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer, you will join our Performance Team, focusing on automation testing using Python, executing performance evaluations, and developing new testing tools.

Your Contributions
  • Design and implement automation frameworks for hardware, cloud, and virtualization testing environments
  • Oversee performance evaluations of our next-generation firewall solutions
  • Construct and maintain intricate testing environments
  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and cases
  • Create tools and infrastructure to enhance testing quality and efficiency
  • Collaborate closely with Software Engineering and Product Management teams throughout the product lifecycle
  • Identify and troubleshoot issues during and post-software release
  • Maintain complex test bed environments
Your Qualifications
  • Proficient in designing, monitoring, and managing scalable development and test automation systems, with expertise in Python
  • Hands-on experience with Python, Linux, MySQL, and Networking
  • Experience in L2-L3 network testing with familiarity in common switching and routing protocols
  • Understanding of L4-L7 network layers and protocols such as TCP/IP, HTTP, and SSL
  • Experience in setting up test beds and conducting tests in virtualization environments, including cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, and GCP
  • Familiarity with test tools such as Spirent, Breaking Point, and Ixia
  • Experience in testing network security products, particularly firewalls and intrusion prevention systems, is advantageous
  • Knowledge of encryption and tunneling protocol testing methods is a plus
  • Experience with bug tracking systems, such as Jira, is beneficial
  • Provide innovative insights to enhance the reliability, scalability, and maintainability of systems
  • Create and implement automated and manual test plans while maintaining accurate documentation of results and processes
  • Knowledge of Windows and Linux system setup and administration is advantageous
  • BS/MS degree with a minimum of 6+ years of experience in the networking security sector, or equivalent experience is required
