Student Transportation Specialist
Ensuring the safe and timely transport of students to educational institutions is our primary mission. We are committed to providing peace of mind to parents and guardians who trust us with their children’s safety.

All prospective candidates for a Driver position, including those with a valid commercial driver's license, will start their journey with us as a Trainee Driver.

Our organization prides itself on having the most skilled drivers in the industry, achieved through our substantial investment in training and employee development.

A Trainee Driver will receive comprehensive training from our experienced staff to secure a commercial driver's license (CDL) and any necessary endorsements, while also familiarizing themselves with our company policies and procedures.

Upon successful completion of the training program and meeting all position requirements, the Trainee Driver will transition into a Professional Driver role.

Key Responsibilities:


- Deliver safe and dependable transportation services by operating a school bus or designated vehicle along a fixed or variable route.

- Arrive at duty on time and maintain punctuality on routes while prioritizing safety.
- Assist passengers in evacuating the vehicle during emergencies.
- Promptly report any incidents or accidents in accordance with company policy.
- Adhere to company policies regarding student and passenger management.
- Communicate effectively with relevant personnel regarding issues and procedures.
- Maintain a professional appearance at all times.

- Complete all necessary documentation (including route change forms, time sheets, vehicle maintenance requests) and submit them to the appropriate authority promptly.

- Foster a collaborative environment with colleagues, supervisors, customers, and passengers while promoting company goodwill.
- Safely and effectively utilize vehicle equipment, including wheelchair lifts, radios, and emergency tools.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:


- Must be at least 21 years old; for specific state regulations, age requirements may vary.

- Must possess or be able to obtain all necessary state licenses and certifications to operate company vehicles.

- Must meet physical and medical standards and pass substance abuse screenings; as a safety-sensitive employee, random screenings will be conducted in accordance with company policy.

- Must successfully complete all training requirements.

- Must practice defensive driving consistently and avoid accidents by adhering to safe driving practices.

- Compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations is essential.
