Soliant is seeking a skilled American Sign Language (ASL) Interpreter or Communication Facilitator to join our team. As a vital member of our educational services, you will provide high-quality interpreting services to students who are deaf or hard of hearing, ensuring equal access to education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide accurate and effective interpreting services for students in a school setting
- Support students to engage in classroom activities and participate fully in their educational experience
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and other professionals to ensure seamless communication and support
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with students, families, and school staff
- Stay up-to-date with best practices in ASL interpreting and education
Requirements:
- Minimum 1+ years of experience as an ASL Interpreter or in a related field
- Fluency in ASL and strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
