Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Home Care Manager to join our team at Firefly Home Care LLC. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing home care services within a defined area, ensuring the best possible care for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Recruitment and Hiring: Recruit, interview, and hire caregiver candidates for assigned area staff, ensuring compliance with company policies and state and federal regulations.
  • Onboarding and Training: Onboard and train new caregivers, providing ongoing support and performance evaluations to ensure they meet our high standards.
  • Client and Caregiver Management: Manage client and caregiver files and credentials, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.
  • Scheduling and Operations: Manage the schedule for assigned area, with support from scheduling when available, and assist with agency operations as needed.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct home supervisory visits, as needed, and take on-call rotation to ensure the highest level of care for our clients.
Requirements
  • Leadership and Management: Ability to make decisions of significance that affect agency operations, with a strong focus on leadership and management.
  • Organizational and Communication Skills: Organized and detail-oriented, with excellent communication skills and a "customer first" attitude.
  • Technical Skills: Solid computer skills, including email, Microsoft Office, and web searches, with the ability to learn new systems and technologies.
  • Experience and Education: Office administrative experience required, with healthcare or home care administrative experience strongly preferred. Relevant license and/or degree (RN, LPN, CMA, Social Work, Gerontology) also strongly preferred.
