We are seeking a skilled and experienced Psychologist to join our Behavioral Health Division at the State of Nebraska. As a Psychologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality clinical services to adult patients with mental illness at our inpatient psychiatric hospital.
Key Responsibilities- Provide psychological testing, therapeutic treatment, and discharge planning to patients with serious mental illness, personality disorders, substance use disorders, and other complex behaviors.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support for patients and their families.
- Conduct court and mental health board testimony as needed.
- Must be licensed to practice psychology in the state of Nebraska.
- Experience working with individuals with serious mental illness and personality disorders is preferred.
- Experience with Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and trauma-informed care is also preferred.
