Job Title: Nurse Practitioner - Behavioral Health Specialist

Alivation Health, LLC is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our team at our Integrated Health Center in Lincoln, NE. As a Behavioral Health Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and promoting a culture of innovation and excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide routine diagnostic, therapeutic, and emergency care for patients in collaboration with the supervising Psychiatrist.
  • Maintain patient case load requiring specialized training in a clinical area.
  • Provide patient medication management and education regarding prescription effects and side effects.
  • Complete patient-related administrative and clinical documentation.
  • Confer with patient, families, agencies, and pharmacies regarding patient care.
  • Utilize multi-specialty services within clinic (Primary Care, Pharmacy & Research): Utilize cutting-edge health services in patient treatment plans, i.e. TMS, EEG, Ketamine, PGX.
  • Demonstrate critical thinking and function under stressful or emergent situations.
  • Demonstrate adaptability to changing work demands in terms of priorities that necessitate personal initiative.
  • Demonstrate excellent active listening skills, verbal, and written communication skills to effectively share knowledge with Chief Medical Officer, Psychiatrist, medical staff, student residents, patients, families, visitors, and the broader healthcare community.
  • Demonstrate competence in Continuing Medical Education (CME) activities that service to maintain, develop, or increase knowledge, skills, and professional performance.
Qualifications:
  • Family Practice or Mental Health APRN
  • Current Nebraska Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner (APRN) License (State Registry Good Standing) Required
  • Current DEA License Registration
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Preferred or In Process
  • Proficient Medical Terminology
  • Familiar with EMR & PM Systems
  • Familiar with Microsoft Platforms
Experience:

Previous Behavioral Health experience is required.
