Job Summary:

The Software Partner Operations Specialist II is a key member of our team, responsible for supporting our partners Adobe, Citrix, Novell, and IBM. This role involves processing orders, managing pricelists, and handling inside sales issues. The successful candidate will have excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a team environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Process daily credit requests for assigned vendors, primarily Adobe
  • Set up and manage customer agreements in our Entitlement Management System for partner programs
  • Work directly with partners and sales teams to address order issues
  • Re-format and post Adobe and Douglas Stewart price lists on a monthly basis
  • Run daily reports for all Adobe and Douglas Stewart vendors in all companies
  • Check daily rejected Adobe orders and Douglas Stewart orders
  • Check daily Electronic Data Interchange Purchase Order transmissions to Adobe and Douglas Stewart
  • Run multiple queries in Microsoft Dynamics AX to ensure all processes are running correctly
  • Higher level escalations and training responsibilities for new hires
Qualifications:
  • 12 months of tenure on the team in a Tier 1 position or 1 year of Inside/Outside experience or Partner Sales Support experience
  • Bachelor's Degree or relevant work experience required
  • Excellent documented performance
  • Functional understanding of Advanced Order Processes
  • Basic understanding of Cloud Order process and In arrears billing

  • Ability to understand many of SHI's internal systems, including SharePoint, Customer Relationship Management, Entitlement Management System, and Microsoft Dynamics AX Order Processing Tool
  • Ability to process a high volume of orders for various partners
  • Ability to understand Guided Order Entry Logic set up for Adobe and IBM in AX to assist sales reps with order entry issues
  • Ability to work directly with partners
  • Ability to run daily reports for all partners
  • Ability to handle complex order processing issues
  • Ability to work in multiple spreadsheets with different data sets
  • Ability to train new employees
  • Ability to mentor Tier 1 individuals
Additional Information:
  • The estimated annual pay for this position is $40,000 - $45,000, dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location
