We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Administrator to join our team at DCCA. As a Senior Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for leading a team of systems administrators and engineers in the administration and maintenance of our IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of systems administrators and engineers in the administration and maintenance of our IT infrastructure
  • Manage day-to-day tasking of the team, scheduling tasks and projects, generating accurate estimates, and reallocating resources as needed
  • Communicate status and roadblocks to management and customers
  • Hands-on experience in administration of RedHat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), VMWare, and other systems administration tools
  • Experience with full range of systems administration tasks, including OS installation and upgrades, COTS product installation and upgrades, support to database installation and upgrades, virtual machine configuration and maintenance, and more

Requirements:

  • Three years' experience as a supervisor of a team
  • Experience managing day-to-day tasking of a team, scheduling tasks and projects, generating accurate estimates, and reallocating resources as needed
  • Hands-on experience in administration of RedHat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), VMWare, and other systems administration tools
  • Experience with full range of systems administration tasks, including OS installation and upgrades, COTS product installation and upgrades, support to database installation and upgrades, virtual machine configuration and maintenance, and more
  • Good problem-solving skills with a high level of communication ability
  • Experience with Solaris, Oracle, or Postgres is desired but not required
  • Experience with government or commercial cloud hosted systems (AWS or Azure) desired but not required

Clearance: Secret or higher. No interim Secret clearances accepted.
