Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in system engineering, with experience in developing system requirements specifications, leading design and development activities, and guiding users in formulating requirements.

The successful candidate will provide technical leadership for the integration of requirements, design, and technology, and will be responsible for the technical integrity of work performed and deliverables associated with the Systems Engineering area of responsibility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze user's requirements, concept of operations documents, and high-level system architectures to develop system requirements specifications.
  • Lead design and development activities, ensuring the delivery of production systems that are compatible with the defined system architecture.
  • Guide users in formulating requirements, advising alternative approaches, and conducting feasibility studies.
  • Provide technical leadership for the integration of requirements, design, and technology.
  • Develop technical documentation, including system architecture and system design documentation.
  • Develop system engineering management plans and system integration and test plans.
  • Interact with the Government regarding Systems Engineering technical considerations and for associated problems, issues, or conflicts.
Requirements
  • Fourteen (14) years of experience as a System Engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
  • Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university.
  • Five (5) years of additional System Engineering experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF) and Service-oriented Architecture (SOA).
  • Knowledge of system engineering principles, practices, and tools.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
