We are seeking a highly skilled SysAdmin to join our team. This position will support one of our government clients in Ft. Meade, MD.

Key Responsibilities

• Actively manage enterprise computer systems and networks, analyzing technical issues and developing corrective actions.

• Observe and interpret visual outputs indicating the operating status of systems and network components for designated computer network infrastructure.

• Translate user requests into technical diagnoses and develop solutions to meet user needs.

• Develop strategies to migrate existing customers to new architecture/technology with minimal impact.

• Evaluate new technologies or equipment that can be added to Agency standard solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of relevant experience, or Master's degree plus 3 years of relevant experience, or an Associate's degree plus 7 years of relevant experience, or a high school diploma/GED plus 9 years of relevant experience may be considered.

• Degree must be in Network Engineering, Systems Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Relevant experience must be in computer or information systems design/development, programming, information/cyber/network security, vulnerability analysis, penetration testing, computer forensics, information assurance, and/or systems engineering.

• Must have experience in network or system administration.

• Able to obtain an IAT-I certification, such as A+CE, CCNA-Security, CND, Network+CE, SSCP.

• Strong Linux experience.

• Experience in systems/network administration, application administration, and/or information technology support or management.

• Experience supporting hardware installation, such as servers and network infrastructure.

• Experience setting up storage such as network-attached storage.

• Experience implementing security best practices to include PKI certificate generation, deployment, and maintenance.

• Knowledge of Unix shell scripting languages like Bash, Bourne, or C.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience deploying and maintaining nginx.

• Familiarity with Docker and RedHat Satellite.

• Familiarity with cloud computing environments like AWS.

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) products like Terraform, SALT, and Ansible as well as system monitoring platforms like Prometheus and Grafana.

• Experience with SELinux and FIPS.

Clearance Requirement
This position requires an active TS/SCI with a polygraph. You must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Candidate Referral
ARSIEM has a referral program for persons presenting NEW candidates who are successfully placed on one of our projects. The bonus for this position is $5,000, and the referrer is eligible to receive the sum for any applicant we can place within 12 months of referral. The bonus is paid after the referred employee reaches six months of employment.
