Position Overview:
Are you a motivated and enthusiastic sales professional with a flair for orchestrating memorable events? We are currently in search of an Event Sales Manager to enhance our team. In this capacity, you will leverage your creativity and sales expertise to generate revenue by securing and overseeing events, ranging from weddings to corporate gatherings. Your primary responsibility will be to promote Banquet Food and Beverage services, alongside additional tasks such as menu design, agenda organization, and hotel meeting services. Other responsibilities will include reviewing contracts and ensuring effective communication with hotel staff before, during, and after events to guarantee a high standard of service. The Event Sales Manager will also play a vital role in site inspections, nurturing strong client relationships, and collaborating with the sales and catering teams. The ideal candidate is an effective communicator with a proven history of sales achievements and a dedication to providing exceptional customer service. Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, hospitality, or a related field and/or 2+ years of experience in hotel sales.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Familiarity with event planning and logistics.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
- At least 1 year of experience in food and beverage.
- Professional and confident appearance.
- Proactive sales approach, assertive, and driven to achieve results.
- Understanding of market segments, competitor strengths and weaknesses, economic trends, and supply and demand.
- Strong time management skills.
- Able to manage multiple projects with desired outcomes.
- Creative in event design.
