Job Description

The Childcare Specialist will work under the supervision of the Project Director, Women and Children's Services, to provide safe and nurturing care for children in our residential program. This includes preparing age-appropriate curriculum and activities, supervising children during indoor and outdoor playtime, and ensuring their overall well-being.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be able to multitask with ease, and maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information.

Requirements:

  1. High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree in early child development preferred
  2. At least one year of experience in childcare or a related field
  3. Current certificates in CPR and First Aid
  4. Bilingual/bicultural skills an asset
