Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lifeguard to join our team at the Coast Guard Community Services Command. As a Lifeguard, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of pool guests and providing emergency care when needed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor pool areas to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with safety rules and regulations.
  • Provide emergency care and first aid as needed, including CPR and AED administration.
  • Communicate effectively with pool guests and staff to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.
  • Participate in regular training and drills to maintain and improve lifeguarding skills.
  • Assist in maintaining pool facilities and equipment to ensure a clean and safe environment.
Requirements
  • Current Lifeguarding certification (American Red Cross or nationally recognized equivalent).
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English (verbal and written).
  • Must be at least 16 years old.
