Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lifeguard to join our team at the Coast Guard Community Services Command. As a Lifeguard, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of pool guests and responding to emergencies in a timely and effective manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Employ safety rules for the protection of pool guests
  • Rescue swimmers and administer first aid as required
  • Attend aquatics and/or safety training as directed
  • Assist in maintaining pool and keeping all areas clean and free from any hazards
  • Provide information to swimmers regarding safety rules and procedures
Requirements
  • Must possess and maintain the following certifications: Lifeguarding, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) for the Professional Rescuer; Automated External Defibrillation (AED), and First Aid
  • Must be able to communicate in English (both verbally and in writing)
  • Must be at least 16 years old to apply
