Job Description

This role will lead the financial evaluation processes for in-licensing, out-licensing, co-development, and acquiring opportunities. As a key member of our Global Business Development team, you will be accountable for developing a financial evaluation model in collaboration with cross-functional teams, including Finance, Global Commercial & Strategy, and Global Forecasting & Insights.


Responsibilities

  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with and lead cross-functional teams to evaluate and execute on deal opportunities, ensuring alignment with project assumptions.
  • Deal Valuation NPV Modeling Financial Support: Provide independent and high-quality financial support to all BDL transactions, including In-Licensing, Out-licensing, Collaborations, and other strategic business initiatives.
  • Deal Valuation Analysis: Lead analysis of financial analysis and models underpinning deal terms, identifying key value drivers and sensitivities.


Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business, or Accounting, preferably from a top-tiered business school.
  • At least 10 years of experience in Pharmaceutical/Biotech/Life Sciences/Investment Banking industries.
  • 4 or more years of experience in BD&L transactions financial modeling.


Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $150,000 - $200,000 per year, depending on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings, and paid time off.


Travel

You will need to travel up to 20% for business meetings and conferences.
