Position Overview

As a vital member of our healthcare team, the Certified Medical Assistant plays a crucial role in delivering patient care under the guidance of the charge nurse and in collaboration with healthcare providers. This position is essential in ensuring that our patients receive high-quality care in accordance with established protocols and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the delivery of patient care tailored to the specific needs of various age groups, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of growth and development principles.
  • Identify and address the unique healthcare requirements of patients across different life stages, including infants, adolescents, and the elderly.
  • Support health education initiatives and disease prevention efforts within the community as necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including State and Federal guidelines, as well as organizational standards for performance improvement.

Qualifications:

Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Completion of an accredited vocational training program for medical assistants is mandatory. Certification or registration as a Medical Assistant is essential.

Experience/Training: Current CPR certification is required. Previous experience in diverse nursing settings is preferred, particularly in patient education related to diabetes, hypertension, cardiac care, pediatrics, immunizations, and other health education programs.
