Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership: Provide leadership and guidance to the nursing team, ensuring that they have the necessary resources and support to deliver excellent patient care.
  • Patient Care: Oversee the delivery of patient care, ensuring that it is safe, effective, and meets the highest standards of quality.
  • Staff Development: Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of nursing staff.
  • Quality Improvement: Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance patient care and outcomes.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing or higher.
  • Experience: At least 24 months of clinical nursing experience, with progressive leadership skills.
  • Licensure: RN Registered Nurse Texas State Licensure and/or Compact State Licensure within 60 days.
  • Certifications: BLS Basic Life Support (AHA) and other credentials and certifications as defined by unit/service line.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Magnet ANCC Recognized Certification.
