Job Title: Customer Accounts Associate

Job Summary:

Serves as the primary point of contact between Branches and the Home Office in a call center environment. Reviews, updates, maintains, and services accounts to protect the Firm, Financial Advisors, and clients by enforcing collection procedures, policies, regulations, and monitoring activity in accounts, while providing exceptional customer service.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Answers escalated calls and questions regarding accounts, providing accurate and timely information to clients and Financial Advisors.
  • Works with Branch personnel to understand and resolve complicated problems and requests, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Reviews all margin agreements for required information, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Reviews, maintains, and services all customer account records, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Maintains records of accounts as required by regulatory bodies and departmental procedures, ensuring compliance and adherence to policies.
  • Assists with training and development of less experienced associates, providing guidance and support to ensure successful onboarding.
  • Analyzes cash and margin accounts on a daily basis, identifying potential issues and taking corrective action to prevent losses.
  • Answers calls referring to specific trading violations, providing guidance and support to clients and Financial Advisors.
  • Informs Supervisor or Customer Account Associate III of potential problems or status of high-risk accounts and situations, ensuring timely escalation and resolution.


Requirements:
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, Financial Advisors, and Branch personnel.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on quality and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and other relevant software.
  • 1-2 years of banking and/or customer service work experience or college degree, with a focus on financial services and account management.
