Patient Services Coordinator

Under the guidance of supervisory staff, the role involves delivering food and nutritional services to patients, which includes:

  • Assisting patients with the room service process.
  • Managing the distribution and collection of patient meal trays.
  • Providing between-meal snacks to patients.
  • Restocking pantry supplies for nursing units.
  • Serving as a communication link between patients, Dietary and Nutrition, and Nursing Services.

Educational Requirements:
Completion of high school or equivalent experience is mandatory.

Experience:
Relevant experience in a similar role is preferred.

Essential Skills:

  • Fundamental understanding of tray identification systems and basic nutritional knowledge related to patient menu programs.
  • Proficient in both oral and written communication.
  • Capable of performing well under time constraints and collaborating effectively as part of a team.
  • Able to apply common sense and understanding to execute detailed written or verbal instructions.
