Position Overview

We are seeking a qualified Project Engineer to provide essential support to our project team. This role is crucial in ensuring that all construction documentation is meticulously maintained and that project activities are efficiently monitored.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver comprehensive administrative assistance to the project team.
  • Keep an accurate and updated set of construction documents, including Addenda, RFIs, and other relevant information.
  • Support inspection personnel by documenting daily construction progress through Daily Reports.
  • Ensure that all 3rd Party Monitoring Reports and Test Results are uploaded to the submittal exchange and reviewed promptly by design consultants.
  • Document and file QA/QC activities, such as First Delivery Inspections, in an organized manner.
  • Generate ad-hoc reports for the Engineering Inspector/Area Supervisor as required.
  • Regularly monitor the submittal exchange to ensure timely reviews by the design team, prioritizing critical submissions.
  • Verify that products meet specifications before releasing submittals and notify the Engineering Inspector of any discrepancies.
  • Provide an updated submittal log to the Engineering Inspector prior to bi-weekly job meetings, highlighting outstanding and critical submittals.
  • Maintain an on-site file of approved and approved-as-noted submittals.
  • Track open RFIs and IBs to ensure timely resolution.

Qualifications

All personnel must possess, at a minimum, OSHA 30 Hour training. Candidates should be able to pass a criminal history background check. It is preferred that personnel remain assigned to this project for its duration. Strong communication skills and prior experience with OGS projects, particularly within secure state facilities, are highly desirable.

Compensation

The salary range for this position is between $70,000 and $90,000, determined based on individual qualifications and location.
