Job SummaryWe are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Construction Inspector to oversee daily contract compliance, conduct inspections, and ensure quality assurance on our construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of construction management principles, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities- Conduct daily inspections to ensure contract compliance and identify potential issues
- Prepare and review daily field reports, including weather, contractor activities, and sub-contractor information
- Review and approve contractor As-Builts to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Conduct quality assurance activities, including inspections, testing, and documentation
- Coordinate with contractors, sub-contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution
- Monitor and report on project progress, including milestones and deadlines
- Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures
- Perform additional duties as required to ensure project success
- Minimum OSHA 30 Hour training
- Ability to pass a criminal history background check
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Experience working in a construction management environment
