Position Overview

We are seeking a qualified Project Engineer to provide essential support for our project team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver comprehensive administrative assistance to the project team.
  • Maintain an accurate and updated set of construction documents, including Addenda, RFIs, IBs, and other relevant information.
  • Assist inspection personnel in documenting daily construction progress through Daily Reports.
  • Ensure timely upload of 3rd Party Monitoring Reports and Test Results to the submittal exchange, and monitor the review of testing reports by design consultants.
  • Document and file QA/QC activities, such as First Delivery Inspections, appropriately.
  • Compile ad-hoc reports for the EIC/Area Supervisor as required.
  • Monitor the submittal exchange daily to guarantee timely reviews by the design team, prioritizing critical submissions.
  • Verify that products match specifications before releasing submittals and promptly notify the EIC of any discrepancies.
  • Provide the EIC with an updated submittal log prior to bi-weekly job meetings, highlighting outstanding and critical submittals.
  • Maintain an on-site file of "Approved" and "Approved-As-Noted" submittals.
  • Track open RFIs and IBs effectively.

Qualifications

All personnel must possess, at a minimum, OSHA 30 Hour training. Candidates must successfully pass a criminal history background check. It is preferred that personnel assigned to this project remain throughout its duration.

Essential skills include strong communication abilities and prior experience with OGS projects, as well as familiarity with secure state facilities.
