Responsibilities:- Provide supportive and personal services to patients with dignity and privacy.
- Assist with personal care and hygiene, including bathing, oral care, and dressing.
- Perform and record accurate measurements, such as vital signs and intake/output, as instructed in care plans.
- Observe and report any safety hazards or significant observations regarding patients.
- Attend staff meetings, complete annual in-services, and participate in orientation of new employees.
- Report patient complaints to the RN and maintain patient confidentiality.
- Perform non-invasive and non-sterile treatments, collect and document vital signs, and assist with ambulation, positioning, and turning.
- Transport patients, provide personal hygiene and elimination assistance, and engage in socialization activities.
- Graduate of an accredited High School or equivalent preferred.
- Ability to read, write, and follow directions.
- Must be a certified nursing assistant with proof of certification or a certified home health aide.
- A minimum of one-year full-time experience in direct patient care in an institutional setting or one-year full-time experience within the last five years in direct client care in an agency setting.
- Work positively and favorably with patients, families, and staff.
- Demonstrate compassion, responsibility, and a cheerful attitude.
