Job Title: Core Caregiver

Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Core Caregiver to join our team at North West Home Care. As a Core Caregiver, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our clients, enabling them to live independently in their own homes.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with program managers to ensure clients receive the best possible care
  • Provide companionship, meal preparation, and light housekeeping services
  • Assist with bathing, toileting, and general hygiene
  • Ambulate and assist with mobility
  • Remind clients of medication and provide transportation to medical appointments
  • Assist with grocery shopping and other errands

Requirements:

  • Availability to work 30+ hours per week
  • Reliable vehicle, valid driver's license, and auto insurance
  • High school diploma
  • Successfully clear drug and criminal background screening
  • Ability to work 2 weekends/month on a team-based rotation
  • CNA license (current or expired) or 1-year verifiable experience as a trained PCA or completion of PCA training program
