About the Role

MU Health Care is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Clinical Dietitian to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our interdisciplinary patient care team, you will provide exceptional care through assessment, diagnosis, interventions, and continuous monitoring and evaluation. The ideal candidate is a true advocate for the overall health and vitality of our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct nutrition assessments on patients or clients, making accurate diagnoses and individualizing interventions.
  • Provide ongoing nutrition education, including education for dietetic students and interns, and developing patient education materials.
  • Effectively communicate with nursing, medical, and other hospital staff to ensure high-quality nutritional care for patients or clients.
  • Facilitate clinical nutrition business practices, assigning and directing the workload of dietitians and diet technicians.
  • Identify and collect performance improvement data, monitor outcomes, and initiate corrective actions.
Requirements
  • Dietitian licensure from the Missouri Committee of Dietitians board.
  • Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) from the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
