Job Title: Event and Operations Assistant

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Event and Operations Assistant to support the planning, coordination, and execution of various events at the Schwarzman College of Computing. The successful candidate will work closely with multiple teams to ensure seamless event experiences and efficient operational processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with event planning, coordination, and execution
  • Support day-to-day operations of the college
  • Work closely with events manager and facilities and operation administrator
  • Contribute to hands-on projects relevant to event spaces and renovations
  • Provide administrative support as needed

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least three years of administrative, event, or operations support experience
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy objects weighing up to 30 pounds
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and juggle multiple priorities
  • Strong Microsoft Office and PowerPoint presentation skills
  • Experience with SAP and online calendar software

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Proficiency with EMS scheduling software and/or basic graphic design software
