Role Summary:

As a vital member of the Acquisitions and Capital Markets team, the Investment Associate will allocate equal time—50% to equity investments and 50% to debt investments. The responsibilities of the Associate include:

  • Evaluating new investment prospects
  • Assessing pools of Freddie Mac loans within K-series securitizations
  • Creating comprehensive financial models and conducting ad hoc financial forecasting, analysis, and modeling
  • Engaging with brokers, sellers, and investors; visiting targeted properties and performing market evaluations
  • Coordinating due diligence efforts with various departments
  • Overseeing the financing process until closing
  • Preparing investment documentation for the Investment Committee and external investors
  • Contributing to strategic planning and budgeting initiatives
  • Providing analytical support to the executive management team as needed

Required Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in real estate, investment banking, or private equity
  • A bachelor's degree in business or finance
  • Proficient Excel skills with a solid foundation in financial modeling and valuation analysis
  • Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational abilities
  • A willingness and capability to thrive in a dynamic environment

This position necessitates expertise in investment valuation and Excel, which will be evaluated through an employer-provided assessment. Achieving CFA Level 1 certification is advantageous.
