Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and Implement Sales Strategies: Drive sales growth, expand market presence, and foster lasting relationships with clients on the islands.
- Build and Maintain Relationships: Establish and nurture strong relationships with clients, distributors, and sales representatives.
- Travel and Client Meetings: Regularly visit the islands for meetings with current and potential clients.
- Collaboration and Order Fulfillment: Work closely with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment, quality control, and exceptional customer service.
- Negotiation and Contract Management: Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with clients and partners.
- Sales Reporting and Strategy: Prepare and present sales reports, commission reports, and sales strategies to senior management.
- Industry Representation: Represent WestHem Supply at industry events, trade shows, and conferences.
Qualifications:
- Experience and Skills: Minimum 7 years of experience in building material sales or the construction industry, with international sales and team leadership experience being a plus.
- Proven Track Record: Demonstrated ability to achieve sales targets and expand market share.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Independence and Project Management: Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Language Skills: Fluency in English is required; additional language skills are highly desirable.
What We Offer:
- Compensation and Benefits: Base salary plus commission guarantee of $72,000 in the first year, comprehensive benefits package, and opportunities for end-of-year profit sharing.
